Samsung Introduces Galaxy View 2, which is a 17-inch portable TV/ Tablet
With all new features such as the 17-inch 1080p tablet, the Samsung Galaxy introduces View 2 which is a portable TV that also happens to be a tablet. This device from Samsung makes other devices seem a little wishy-washy. The product is being sold by AT&T, according to Engadget. AT&T is undoubtedly hoping for you to watch the company’s upcoming streaming service.
This isn’t the first smart TV/tablet that Samsung has devised. Back in 2015, the exemplary original Galaxy View was released regardless of its overwhelming price.
Technical Specifications
Other than the large screen and strong 12,000 mAh battery of the smartphone, other specifications are just normal. It is equipped with an eight-core 1.6GHz Exynos 7884 chipset along with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. You will find a 5-megapixel camera in the front but surprisingly no camera on the back, probably due to the strange concept of taking photographs with a huge 17-inch tablet.
With a quad-speaker array and support from Dolby Atmos, the Galaxy View 2 is designed with video-taking in mind and in addition, it also includes the LTE and NumberSync, the AT&T service which allows you to share your main phone number and make calls with the tablet.
Cost and Availability
On shelling out 37 per month from AT&T over 20 months totaling to $740, you can have this 17-inch portable TV from Samsung Galaxy View 2. It will start getting available from April 26th.
