Samsung Shocks Fans With 2 Galaxy S7 Releases
Samsung is once again stealing the show with the dual release of two of their most anticipated smartphones: the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. While 2015 was a banner year for Samsung, they plan to outdo themselves once again this year. Even in the midst of the smashing success of the Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 Edge, there were still a few pitfalls that generated massive complaints from users. Fortunately those complaints didn’t fall upon deaf ears, & Samsung made a laundry list of improvements this time. These smartphones promise to deliver what the other phones fell short on last year. Even though the Galaxy S7 & Galaxy S7 Edge haven`t been released yet, exclusive leaked info is shedding light on the juicy details of these brilliant smartphones.
Samsung Held Nothing Back With the Galaxy S7 & Galaxy S7 Edge
While both smartphones contain a ton of improved features, only one looks noticeably different. Leaked photos show that the Galaxy S7 looks almost identical to its predecessor. However, this time around users will finally be able to pick a genuine “black” color option, unlike the unappealing navy color offered by the Galaxy S6. Samsung has decided to play it safe by just offering black, white, silver & gold color options. Apart from the color options, the Galaxy S7 just looks like a sleeker version of the S6. Where you really see noticeable differences is in the Galaxy S7 Edge. This year it has been blessed with a larger 5.5 inch display, as well as a more pronounced outer curve. This was a welcome change since it will make it easier to grip while still preserving the sexy design that made users fall in love with the S6 Edge last year. Both phones will maintain the same powerful qHD 1440 x 2560 resolution as last year. But no one is complaining since it was exceptionally vibrant.
Last year’s complaints directed Samsung to make some much needed improvements in both the Galaxy S7 & Galaxy S7 Edge. While both phones look eerily similar to last year’s models, the S7 models feature a much needed IP67 water-resistant design. This will allow both phones to survive getting splashed or making calls in the pouring rain. New reports have also claimed that both phones will support expandable storage, which will alleviate pressure on users picking which size memory to buy. Hands down the most welcomed improvement is the improved battery life in both phones. Samsung heard the flood of complaints from last year & augmented to a 3000mAh battery. They also added the Android 6.0’s Doze feature to improve battery life. Allegedly Samsung downgraded both phones cameras to 12 megapixels to improve their performance in low light. Even though no one was complaining about the excellent camera quality of the Galaxy S6, only time will tell if this improvement will help lure more people into choosing these smartphones.
Samsung has once again demonstrated why they are one of the top smartphone producers in the entire world. Their ability to listen to their users was showcased with the much needed improvements that they made this year. While we still have no idea what Apple has in store for us, Samsung has made it clear that 2016 is the year for their smartphones to shine.
